With ads for Web sites like rottentomatoes, imdb.com or flixster popping up on every page you visit, you can’t help but become a movie fanatic. Some Nebraskans have hopped on the band wagon and made their own site proving that people in the Midwest can do it, too. Nick Barry and Alex Olson have recently launched filmcrave.com, a social site that connects you to movie lovers and top movie lists.
Alex Olson, co-founder, noted “This social network was created in Nebraska and the Midwest - not every great website is created on the East and West Coast.”
Barry and Olson have created a site that has tons of features to help you find that perfect movie. Even better, you can get most of the perks without having to sign up. Just by going to the site you can look at top movie lists by genre and year. You can even look at people’s personal top lists.
By becoming a member you can create your own top lists and interact with other members. In a nutshell, it is like facebook.com for movie lovers. It is a site for getting movie reviews and learning about the latest films and the best classics.
Check it out and sign up at www.filmcrave.com, and invite your friends to use the latest movie lover’s craze.
